KNB Communications, a leading healthcare technology public relations firm, seeks a qualified professional with 4-6 years of experience to join our team as a senior account executive/account supervisor. This is an opportunity for a highly organized and results-driven individual to grow in a fast-paced and professional environment.
In this position, based at our Norwalk CT offices, candidates will manage a team and oversee the development and execution of public relations strategies for leading healthcare companies. The candidate will work very closely with healthcare experts, healthcare media and industry thought leaders to help execute our clients’ communications strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute PR strategies for prominent healthcare/health-tech clients
- Oversee campaign development, strategy implementation and event coordination
- Work closely with print, online and broadcast media to optimize client exposure.
- Ability to motivate and lead account teams, distribute assignments and supervise account activities
Requirements:
- PR agency experience is a MUST.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare/health-tech industry and issues
- Highly organized, well-rounded professional with solid understanding of public relations and social media.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong industry contacts – media, industry professionals, third party organizations
- Excellent project management & account management skills
- Strong knowledge of PR billing and account management
- B.A. in communications, public relations, journalism or healthcare-related studies a plus
